After two decades of being with GMA 7, Maxene Magalona returns to ABS-CBN to be one of the guest judges of It’s Showtime together with Jessy Mendiola. In her first day being one of the judges for the segments PinaSikat and Gandang Lalaki, Maxene introduced herself to the madlang people as she said “Sa lahat ng mga Kapamilya na nanonood, nais ko lang magpakilala, ako po si Maxene Magalona. Hello!” Maxene shared on her instragram post (@maxenemagalona) that enjoyed being one of the guest judges of the show together with Jessy and the resident judge Jhong Hilario.
Aside from the judging, Maxene gave her sample together with Billy Crawford and the audience to sing with her the song Cold Summer Nights. She sing the part where her father, the late master rapper Francis Magalona performed before.
In her being cool throughout the show, Maxene Magalona trended both Philippines and Worldwide and according to her it felt good that she trended not because of having any mistake during her performance or her judging. Maxene is looking forward on her judging in It’s Showtime throughout the week.
Meanwhile, Maxene didn’t sign any contract with ABS-CBN but she expressed on Instagram that she is happy “to be back” after more than two decades. Her last visit with ABS-CBN was during Ang TV days where she was part of the cast and that was 21 years ago according to Maxene.
