Park Min-young is ready to trade boardroom battles for matters of the heart in Nine to Six, a new Korean office romance series from Prime Video, also starring Yook Sung-jae and Go Soo. The 12-episode series premieres November 25 exclusively on Prime Video.
Park Min-young stars as Kang Yi-ji, a sharp-witted senior manager in the legal department of Chronic Motors. Having established herself in a competitive, male-dominated corporate environment, Yi-ji believes success comes from hard work, ambition, and maintaining control over her life. She has little patience for romance, viewing love and marriage as fleeting hormonal reactions rather than essential parts of life. Although she once dreamed of studying astronomy, she pursued law at her mother’s urging and has since devoted herself to building a successful career.

Her carefully structured world begins to change when she meets Han Sun-woo, played by Yook Sung-jae. A warm-hearted legal intern whose real passion lies in jewellery design, Sun-woo is sincere, thoughtful, and guided by his heart. Unlike Yi-ji, who approaches life with logic and practicality, he believes in kindness and staying true to oneself. When Yi-ji finds herself in danger, Sun-woo instinctively puts her safety before his own, revealing a protective and dependable side that could change how she sees him.
Meanwhile, Go Soo takes on the role of Park Hyun-tae, a sophisticated and accomplished executive director at Chronic Motors’ Seoul branch. Having risen through the corporate ranks at a young age, Hyun-tae returns from the company’s European headquarters with an impressive professional background and a strong appreciation for competence. Intelligent, composed, and accustomed to independence, he has long believed that life is simpler without romantic complications. However, his encounter with Yi-ji challenges his perspective as he becomes drawn to her confidence, talent, and professional abilities.

Bringing together three distinct perspectives on love, ambition, and relationships, Nine to Six explores the challenges of balancing professional success with personal happiness. The series features Park Min-young, known for Siren’s Kiss, Marry My Husband, and Confidence Queen; Yook Sung-jae of The Haunted Palace, The Golden Spoon, and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God; and Go Soo of Missing: The Other Side, Colony, and Parole Examiner Lee. Written by Choi Ji-oh, the series is directed by Lee Hyung-min (Strong Girl Bong-soon, Miss Night and Day, and I’m Sorry, I Love You) and Oh Song-hee (The Escape of the Seven).
With its mix of workplace humour, emotional moments, and romantic tension, Nine to Six promises a heartwarming story about discovering love when it is least expected. As Yi-ji navigates the attention of two very different men, she must confront a question no amount of professional experience can prepare her for: can she make room for love without compromising the career she worked so hard to build? Catch Nine to Six starting November 25, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
