Girl group Baby Dolls continues to build momentum in the local music scene as their breakout hits “Oohh Lala Baby” and “Ikembot Mo” rack up millions of streams and views, while their newest single “Meme” gains traction across digital and social media platforms.
The “It’s Showtime” girl group introduced their signature fun and upbeat sound with their debut EP “Zoom Baby Dolls,” released in March. The EP featured “Oohh Lala Baby” and “Ikembot Mo,” which have since become two of the group’s most popular releases.
Baby Dolls is now adding another song to their growing list of hits with “Meme,” released on September 3. The track has surpassed 91,000 streams on Spotify, while its lyric video has accumulated 162,000 views on YouTube. On TikTok, “Meme” has been featured in more than 15,700 posts.
For the seven members, “Meme” also offers an opportunity to showcase more of their individual personalities and musical styles through an original song.
“Sobrang kinilig po kami ngayong meron kaming original song kasi mas mailalabas pa namin yung flavors na itinatago na namin,” the group said.
The Baby Dolls are also gearing up for a major milestone as they headline their first major concert, “Baby Dolls: Ooh Lala Live sa Skydome,” on November 8 at the SM City North Edsa Skydome.
Tickets are priced at P4,499 for SVIP, P3,499 for VIP 1, P2,799 for VIP 2, P2,499 for Patron, and P1,699 for General Admission. Tickets are available through SM Tickets and SM Tickets outlets.
Meanwhile, “Oohh Lala Baby” continues to make waves, surpassing 10.5 million Spotify streams and more than 9.3 million TikTok posts using the song. Its music video has also reached over 22 million views on YouTube after topping the YouTube Music chart.
“Ikembot Mo” has also reached 3.9 million Spotify streams, while its lyric video has earned more than 6.8 million YouTube views. The track has also been used in over 2.5 million TikTok posts.
Baby Dolls is composed of Arianne Dela Cruz, Chole Florendo, Eriel Reyes, Ina Ortega, Jelai Ahamil, Johaira Moris, and Juby Sabino.
