ABS-CBN Studios and Prime Video’s mystery-thriller series The Silent Noise brought pride to the Philippines after winning Best Asian Content at the Global OTT Awards 2026 held in South Korea on June 20.
The 10-episode limited series emerged victorious over entries from Thailand, Japan, China, and Taiwan. Praised for its unique use of silence as a storytelling device, the series captivated audiences with its blend of suspense, emotion, and compelling performances.
Director Onat Diaz accepted the award on behalf of the production team and highlighted the significance of the recognition for Filipino storytellers.

The win marks the Philippines’ first-ever victory at the Global OTT Awards and in the Best Asian Content category.
Adding to the series’ achievements, lead actress Angelica Panganiban received a nomination for Best Lead Actor (Female), competing alongside acclaimed talents from across Asia.
Produced by ABS-CBN Studios and Prime Video, The Silent Noise stars Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo, Mylene Dizon, Zaijian Jaranilla, Mutya Orquia, and KD Omalin.
Following its premiere in March, the series became one of the most-watched titles on Prime Video Philippines and is currently available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The Silent Noise is now streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
