The Philippines’ first Miss Universe winner, Gloria Diaz, is set to join the judging panel of the second edition of Miss Grand International All Stars, bringing her decades of experience in international pageantry and entertainment to the competition.
Diaz made history in 1969 when she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe and went on to win the Miss Universe title in Miami Beach, Florida, at just 18 years old. She also received the 10 Best in Swimsuit recognition during the competition. In recognition of her lasting contribution to Philippine pageantry, she became the inaugural recipient of the Binibining Pilipinas Hall of Fame Award. She has also served as a judge in Miss Universe and various national beauty pageants.
Beyond pageantry, Diaz has established an acclaimed acting career, earning several industry honors, including a Metro Manila Film Festival Best Supporting Actress award for Jose Rizal, a Gawad Urian award for Batang West Side, and multiple FAMAS Best Supporting Actress awards for Nasaan Ka Man, Sagrada Familia, and Mallari. Her international projects include an appearance as Gloria Reyes in the second season of Netflix’s comedy series Insatiable.
Joining Diaz on the judging panel are Shyare Andrade, Miss Grand International 2026 first runner-up from Ecuador; American model and pageant coach Lu Sierra; French-Lebanese composer and businessman Omar Harfouch; Cuban-Venezuelan pageant entrepreneur Osmel Sousa; and Thai-Scottish marine conservationist Psi Scott.
The confirmed Philippine representatives include Michelle Dee, a Top 12 semifinalist at Miss World 2019 and Top 10 finalist at Miss Universe 2023; Anne Patricia Diaz, who competed at Miss International Queen 2013 representing Singapore, placed first runner-up at Miss Equality World 2023, and reached the Top 6 at Miss International Queen 2025; Alexie Brooks, winner of Miss Eco International 2025; and Maureen Montagne, who was crowned The Miss Globe 2021 in Tirana, Albania, becoming the second Filipina to win the international title.
The second edition of Miss Grand International All Stars will take place on December 12 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The reigning titleholder, Vanessa Pulgarin of Colombia, is also part of the lineup as she defends her crown and competes for the $1-million prize.
