The brand that travelers, casual diners and online shoppers love undergoes facelift! From the usual dark blue and green card, Paymaya card will be available in a minimalist black design in front that showcases only pertinent logos that show the features of the card. Logos include they Paymaya, EMV chip, contactless payment, and VISA/Mastercard.

Meanwhile, all personal information of the cardholder–including the card number, the expiry date of the card, the CVV card security code as well as the cardholder’s name–is printed at the back of the card, which makes it more secure than most cards out in the market today.

The minimalist black Paymaya card is available now at the PayMaya Online Store (store.paymaya.com) for only P200.00.

“We know our users love their cards which is why they are always excited to post about it on their social media accounts, but that also means exposing sensitive personal information to the public. With this new card, our customers are assured that they can share and brandish their cards to their heart’s content without risking their safety and security,” said Kenneth Palacios, Head of Wallets Business at PayMaya Philippines.

From dining at restaurants to shopping in stores, PayMaya account holders are increasingly using their PayMaya physical card when they pay for travel-related expenses abroad. Without the need to call in advance for card activation, they can easily use their PayMaya card at establishments where Visa or Mastercard is accepted and at the same time, benefit from better foreign exchange rates.

Aside from that, they enjoy the convenience and satisfaction of receiving real-time SMS notifications for every transaction and not worrying about hidden charges. They can also easily block their card in the event that it gets lost or stolen.

Already one of the most in-demand payment options particularly for the young market, PayMaya has also enhanced the convenience and security of its card by incorporating the EMV standard as well as the contactless payment feature of Visa and Mastercard.

PayMaya cardholders can also maximize the card’s features by linking their physical PayMaya card to the PayMaya app. By doing so, they can enjoy one wallet for online or in-store purchases and efficiently manage their expenses. Withdrawing for extra cash using the PayMaya card can be done anytime, anywhere on any BancNet ATM nationwide and any Visa Plus machines abroad.

Aside from the security features, PayMaya cardholders can get a P300 cashback when they pay using their PayMaya card in-store or online with a minimum spend of P3,000 from July 21-31, 2019. This is on top of the other perks and discounts they can enjoy when they pay for bills, buy load, or shop online and in-store with their PayMaya account.
