LG Electronics is strengthening its presence in Europe’s commercial laundry market with an expanded portfolio of professional equipment and connected management solutions showcased at EXPODETERGO INTERNATIONAL 2026 in Milan, Italy, from October 23 to 26.
The exhibition highlights LG’s growing business-to-business (B2B) laundry operations, featuring semi-commercial and professional laundry equipment, the European debut of its Wet Cleaning solution, and digital platforms designed to help businesses monitor equipment and manage daily operations more efficiently.
LG is also presenting mass-produced models from its Professional Laundry lineup for the first time, underscoring its efforts to expand beyond the semi-commercial segment and address the needs of Europe’s professional textile care industry.
LG’s Professional Laundry lineup incorporates technologies designed to improve washing performance, load stability and operational efficiency.
Among these is AI Weight Detection, which identifies laundry load sizes and adjusts water consumption accordingly. The Dynamic Ball-Core System uses a built-in gyro sensor to detect drum imbalances in real time, while a ball balancer helps stabilize loads and minimize vibrations.

LG is also introducing its Wet Cleaning solution to the European market. Designed as an alternative to conventional dry-cleaning methods, the system uses water and specially formulated detergents to care for delicate garments while helping reduce the risk of shrinkage, color transfer and changes in fabric texture.
Featuring MotionCare technology, the solution combines gentle washing with low-temperature drying. Precise drum movements are designed to help minimize fabric damage during the cleaning process.
Alongside its commercial laundry equipment, LG is showcasing digital solutions that give business customers greater control over their operations.
The LG LaundryCrew app allows owners and users to remotely monitor and manage connected laundry equipment. Meanwhile, LG’s Open API enables integration with existing business systems through a separate system development process, allowing B2B customers to build customized management platforms using supported equipment data.
By combining professional laundry equipment with remote monitoring, management and performance-tracking capabilities, LG aims to provide businesses with greater operational flexibility and more efficient day-to-day management.
LG continues to expand its commercial laundry business in Europe, building on distributor relationships in the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Hungary.
In August 2026, the company secured a B2B order from SCHILLING Wäschereitechnik GmbH, a Germany-based distributor specializing in professional laundry and ironing equipment. Deliveries of LG’s semi-commercial and Professional Laundry products to Schilling are already underway, marking another step in the company’s European expansion.
Through its participation in EXPODETERGO INTERNATIONAL 2026, LG aims to strengthen existing partnerships, connect with prospective dealers and explore new business opportunities throughout the region.
The company is also pursuing commercial laundry growth in North America and Asia. In North America, LG has increased supplies to major operators CSC ServiceWorks and WASH. In Asia, it continues to strengthen distribution partnerships in Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
“EXPODETERGO INTERNATIONAL provides an important opportunity to showcase LG’s full commercial laundry portfolio and connected management solutions to European business partners,” said Baek Seung-tae, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company.
“Building on our expanding presence in Europe, we will continue to strengthen partnerships, support our customers’ operational efficiency and accelerate the growth of our commercial laundry business.”
