After working together in Maria Mercedes in 2013 as Maria and Santiago, Jessy Mendila and Ariel Rivera in a special Maalaala Mo Kaya episode about love not looking in age as requirement. Jessy will be playing the role of Cecile, an 18-year old girl who fell in love with a city mayor named Roel (portrayed by Ariel Rivera). Jerry Lopez Sineneng directs the said episode.
The story follows Cecile, who doesn’t care about the age gap between her and Rodel. The thing that matters to her is that she loves the city mayor who gave him the lavish lifestyle despite of the family disapproval. But things change when she became pregnant and Rodel started to hide from her. Rodel choose his political plans over her and leave her with their baby. What did Cecile have to go through when Roel left her for good? How did her family help her to accept her mistakes and devote all her love to her child?
Joining Jessy and Ariel in this MMK episode are Irma Adlawan, Belle Mariano, Eda Nolan, Karen Timbol, and Mike Lloren. Maalaala Mo Kaya airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday at 7:15PM after Home Sweetie Home.
