Now, the beloved comedy legend is back on the big screen in Mudrasta, a new feature film from CreaZion Studios and the makers of Patay Na Si Jesus and Deadma Walking. Directed by Julius Ruslin Alfonso (Deadma Walking), Mudrasta stars Roderick Paulate as Victor “Beki” Labrador, who unexpectedly inherits part of a former flame’s estate along with a complicated new family. To claim his share, Beki must move into the Santillanes mansion and live with his late partner’s two orphaned children (Elmo and Arkin Magalona) and their no-nonsense grandmother (Celia Rodriguez). Hilarity and heart ensue as Beki tries to win over a household that isn’t exactly thrilled to welcome him in.
Joining the all-star ensemble cast are Tonton Gutierrez, Carmi Martin, Awra Briguela, Ruby Ruiz, Joel Saracho, Sunshine Teodoro, Debbie Garcia, Odette Khan, and Ms. Celia Rodriguez. The film promises a rollercoaster of laughter, love, and life lessons about acceptance and chosen family.
