Once again, the SM Mall of Asia will be treating their shoppers and fireworks aficionados with a weekly presentation of music and fireworks display in the sky of Manila Bay from February 15 to March 22 for the 2014 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. The said pyromusical competition will be presented every Saturday night and will showcase the spectacular lights, music and fireworks display from countries including Australia, Spain, Japan, France, United Kingdom, United States of America (USA), China, Germany, Canada and Finland. Philippines is also one of the contenders of the 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition.

Last March 1, I had to the chance to witness the beautiful fireworks presentations of Japan and France. Each country will be showcasing their presentation for 15 minutes where it will be a collaboration of lights, music and fireworks display that will give life to the Manila Bay sky in the sea side part of Mall of Asia. Each country has their own way of presenting their entries for the competition, for France I enjoyed the operating music combined of fireworks that looks like blossoming flowers in the sky which they ended their presentation with a very breath-taking overlapping of gold and white fireworks. Meanwhile, Japan used modern songs some of Lady Gaga’s and shifted to slow classical. The “smiley” fireworks gives smile to the audience of the said event as they ended their presentation of a fountain of white and gold from their vessel accompanied with yellow and green fireworks that lighten Manila Bay.

Here are some of the photos from the Japan VS France last March 1, more photos are posted in the gallery of www.Facebook.com/ASKbyFlowGalindez.
