Jollibee and DreamWorks Animation are joining forces for a global campaign tied to the theatrical release of “Forgotten Island,” a new animated film that celebrates friendship, family, and Filipino-inspired storytelling.
The partnership brings together DreamWorks, the studio behind popular animated films such as “Shrek,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” and “The Wild Robot,” and Jollibee, the Filipino restaurant brand known for favorites including Chickenjoy, Yumburger, Jolly Spaghetti, and Burger Steak.

The collaboration draws on shared themes of friendship and togetherness. Inspired by Filipino mythology and stories passed down through generations, “Forgotten Island” follows two lifelong friends whose adventure brings them to a mysterious world filled with mythical creatures inspired by Filipino folklore.
At the center of the story are best friends Jo and Raissa, voiced by Grammy and Academy Award winner H.E.R. and Filipino actress Liza Soberano. Their journey begins when they discover a mysterious portal leading to Nakali, a magical island inhabited by creatures drawn from the stories they grew up hearing from their families.
Their adventure takes a difficult turn when they learn that returning home comes at the cost of losing their memories of each other. Alongside a group of allies, Jo and Raissa must navigate Nakali while searching for a way to protect the friendship that has shaped their lives.

The film features an international voice cast that includes Dave Franco, Lea Salonga, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng, bringing together global and Filipino talent for a story rooted in Filipino-inspired mythology.
“At Jollibee, we’ve always believed that some of life’s best memories are made around the dining table,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “Through this partnership with DreamWorks, we’re excited to give Filipinos another meaningful way to celebrate friendship, create lasting memories, and share the joy of eating together.”
As part of the collaboration, Jollibee Philippines introduced the limited-time Forgotten Island Adventure Bundle, which launched in Metro Manila on September 16 and in other regions on September 23. Available at participating stores nationwide until October 31, the PHP389 bundle includes 1-pc. Chickenjoy with rice and Pineapple Quencher, Peach Mango Pie à la Mode with Vanilla Soft Serve, Peach Mango Pie with Chocolate Sauce, and an exclusive Forgotten Island Friendship Charm Bracelet.
The collectible bracelet gives fans a keepsake inspired by the film and its celebration of friendship. The Adventure Bundle is available for dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru, while supplies last.
“Forgotten Island,” distributed by Universal Pictures, opened in Philippine cinemas on September 23, 2026.
