Jollibee is giving the viral relationship red flag trend a spicy twist with a playful campaign that celebrates its Spicy Chickenjoy through witty messages designed to make customers laugh and share their experiences online.
Through #TheOnlyRedFlagIWant, the fast-food chain brings the trend to life with special red flaglets featuring cute, funny, and relatable one-liners inspired by the familiar dating term. The campaign generated buzz on X, where “JOLLY RED FLAG” trended and encouraged netizens to join the conversation and discover the messages for themselves.
“We’ve seen how much our customers enjoy joining online trends and creating their own content, even when they’re dining in our stores. We wanted to bring that same fun to their Spicy Chickenjoy experience through these playful flaglets, giving them something to enjoy, take photos of, and share with their friends,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines.

Turning the idea of relationship red flags into a lighthearted dining experience, the campaign features humorous lines that make Spicy Chickenjoy the kind of red flag customers can happily embrace.
Among the messages are “Red flag na laging available for you,” “Red flag na pwede ipakilala sa friends mo,” and “Red flag worth saying ‘yes’ to.” Each playful line offers customers a fun way to connect the viral trend with their love for Jollibee’s spicy fried chicken.
Beyond enjoying their favorite meal, customers can use the flaglets as props for photos and videos, share laughs with friends, and create their own content inspired by the campaign.
The special red flaglets are available from October 15 to November 15, or while supplies last, at 54 participating Jollibee stores nationwide.
Customers can join the fun by getting a flaglet, choosing their favorite message, and sharing their photos and videos online using #TheOnlyRedFlagIWant.
