For the third time, Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes partners with Star Cinema for another Metro Manila Film Fest movie that will be showing on December 25 in all theaters nationwide. The romantic drama film entitled One More Try marks the third project of Dingdong with Star Cinema after Segunda Mano, a 2011 MMFF entry and Kimmy Dora and The Temple of Kiyeme. One More Try is directed by Ruel S. Bayani and also stars Angelica Panganiban, Angel Locsin and Zanjoe Marudo.
One More Try focuses on the story of Edward (Dingdong) and the two women in his life; Grace (Angel) and Hazel (Angelica). Nancy was Jeremy’s ex-girlfriend and the mother his child, while Hazel was his current wife, Hoping they will live separate lives, Nancy needs the help of Jeremy in order to save their child – they need a stem cell coming from a second child that will share their flesh and blood.
But with their current situation of Hazel and Rommel (Zanjoe) existing in their lives, how will the plan in saving their child be a reality? Will Hazel and Rommel allow Nancy and Jeremy to bear another child? And with this kind of arrangement, how will it change their relationship and their past?
One More Try is one of entries of Star Cinema for the 2012 MMFF that will kick off on December 25, 2012. The film also stars Gina Pareño, Agot Isidro and Carmina Villaroel.
