Expect four more years of football coverage on ABS-CBN after Philippine Azkals and Philippine Football Federation (PFF) renewed their contract with the Kapamilya Network. You will see more of Phil and James Younghusband showing the football moves along with the rest of the Team Azkals in the coming years as the bring honor for the country and make football game more known to all Filipinos next to basketball. Part of the contract is the exclusive telecast of all the international matches of the Azkals beginning 2013.
Present in the contract signing were ABS-CBN Chairman and CEO Gabby Lopez, ABS-CBN Vice President for Sports Peter Musngi , ABS-CBN Chief Finance Officer Rolando Valdueza, Azkals Team Manager Dan Palami, PFF President Mariano Araneta and PFF legal counsel Atty. Ed Gastanes. Aside from ABS-CBN and Studio 23, Team Azkals supporters can watch their favorite football players through the ABS-CBN’s The Filipino Channel (TFC). They can now watch and support the Azkals in all their games and also through this they can actually encourage other Filipinos abroad who have interest with the sports to join the team.
Expect more of the Philippine Azkals in all ABS-CBN both local and international channels.
