The upcoming rerun of About Us But Not About Us is expanding its cast with two notable additions as actor Kobie Brown and stage director Tuxqs Rutaquio join the acclaimed production.

Set to return to the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati from October 2 to 25, 2026, the play, created by Jun Robles Lana, will once again feature alternating casts for its lead roles.

Director Tuxqs Rutaquio, who helmed the stage adaptation of the film, will now take on a new challenge by stepping into the role of Eric. He will alternate with Romnick Sarmenta, who portrayed the character both in the original film and during the play’s first staging.

While Rutaquio is widely recognized for his work behind the scenes as director of About Us But Not About Us and last year’s Anino Sa Likod Ng Buwan, he is no stranger to the stage. He originated the role of Ada in Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzikal, and has performed in productions by Dulaang UP, the Virgin Labfest, and Tanghalang Pilipino. This time, he steps into a production he has shaped not only as a director but now as one of its lead performers.

The production highlights the distinct perspectives both actors bring to the role: Sarmenta embodies the Eric audiences first encountered on screen, while Rutaquio offers a fresh interpretation informed by his deep understanding of the play’s staging and direction.

Joining the cast as the second Lancelot is newly signed Sparkle artist Kobie Brown, who will alternate with Elijah Canlas. Canlas originated the role in both the film and the stage production’s first run.

Brown recently portrayed Smith in the internationally acclaimed Hilda Koronel comeback film Sisa, produced by The IdeaFirst Company. He first rose to prominence through Pinoy Big Brother and is currently part of GMA Network’s afternoon musical drama series Born to Shine. His casting marks another milestone in his growing acting career as he takes on one of the production’s pivotal roles.

Returning to the production are Epy Quizon and director Andoy Ranay, who will once again alternate in portraying Marcus.

Based on the acclaimed film of The IdeaFirst Company, About Us But Not About Us explores the complexities of love, identity, memory, and human connection through intimate conversations among its three central characters.

Tickets for the October 2026 rerun are now available to the general public through Ticket2Me.
