Rising OPM band Off To Aurora explores the many dimensions of love and commitment in their self-titled debut EP, a collection of songs centered on the choice to stay together even amid life’s uncertainties.
Showcasing their signature blend of alternative rock and emotional storytelling, the five-track EP features “Sampung Hakbang,” “Bituin,” “Papalayo,” “Paglalaban,” and “Makikita Kang Muli.” Together, the tracks chart the emotional journey of a relationship—from the excitement of falling in love and the pain of drifting apart to the struggles, growth, and hope that come with choosing each other every day.

Leading the release is “Makikita Kang Muli,” written by Jimmy and Cymbee Antiporda and produced by Angelo Zipagan. The track tells the story of finding one’s way back to a loved one and holding on to a promise to continue fighting for the relationship despite distance and obstacles. The band officially launched the EP last Friday (June 12) at GigMusic Hall in Cavite.
Off To Aurora is composed of Idean Rafael Arayata Pornal, Kiel Malonzo, Kyle Faustino, John Lloyd Hernandez, Benedict Borja, and CJ Gonzaga. Formed in 2024, the group blends modern indie and alternative rock influences with heartfelt, acoustic-driven songwriting.
The band first introduced its sound through debut single “Sampung Hakbang” under ABS-CBN’s DNA Music label, followed by “Bituin,” which further showcased their ability to craft relatable narratives about love and life.
