In the second day of the week-long semi-finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan Quarter 3, two gentlemen of Metro Manila namely Lucky Robles and Christopher Rodrigueza were announced at the bottom 2 after receiving lowest score from the combined votes of the judges and public vote. Lucky got 50.12 while Christopher got 53.11. They were encouraged by the hosts not to give up instead try to change their fate as the completion progresses.
But not with Christopher, he got a gong while singing the song One Last Cry. He was just singing the first line after Rey Valera signals Jhong Hilario to hit the gong. Christopher said was not feeling well whereas he already mentioned it earlier during the revealing of partial votes.
With Christopher getting a gong from the competition it means he is already out from the competition. It means only Lucky, Jennie Gabriel, Noven Belleza, Antonio Sabalza Sr and Eumee Capile will continue the fight until Saturday.
