More than four decades after the passing of beloved child star Julie Vega, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) takes another look at the unanswered questions surrounding her death in its annual Halloween special, “Gabi ng Lagim XIV,” airing this Sunday, November 1, on GMA-7.
This year’s special features four chilling stories involving paranormal encounters, unexplained disturbances, alleged demonic possession, and a mysterious death that continues to spark curiosity.

One of the featured stories takes viewers to Baguio Teachers Camp, where a supposed ghostly child was captured on video wandering through a hallway. Paranormal researcher Ed Caluag visits the location to investigate the strange sighting and uncover what might be lurking in the darkness.

Another unsettling account follows Nathan, who receives a carving of the Pietà as a gift. After bringing it home, his family begins experiencing strange occurrences, including mysterious shadows and unexplained sounds. Could these disturbances be connected to the mysterious Ukit?

In “Dasal Laban sa Dilim,” a transgender woman from a remote province reportedly experiences nine consecutive nights of alleged possession. As fear grips her family, they seek answers and intervention to understand what is happening.

The special also revisits “The Mysterious Case of Julie Vega,” exploring the actress’s final days through the memories of her former colleagues and sibling. The story looks into the persistent speculation surrounding her passing and raises questions about whether her final film, in which she portrayed a character possessed by a demon, could have any connection to the mystery.
Get ready for an evening of eerie encounters and unanswered questions as KMJS: Gabi ng Lagim XIV airs this Sunday, November 1, at 8:30 p.m. on GMA Network.
