After Gwyneth Dorado and Junior New System, two more Filipino acts will be joining the finals of Asia’s Got Talent namely the shadow performers El Gamma Penumbra and opera singer Gerphil Flores. Coming from the second batch of semi-finalists along with the Golden Buzzer recipient Junior New System, Gerphil earned her ticket to the finals thought the public voting. Meanwhile, El Gamma Penumbra the only act from the Philippines in the third batch of semi-finalists and also one of the two Golden Acts from the audition round instantly jumped to the finals because of second golden buzzer that the judges gave them.
El Gamma Penumbra performed a shadow play with the story of war and peace. Vaness Wu said that the group did an amazing job, which together with Anggun they gave the group a standing ovation after the performance. While Melanie shared that they topped their last performance. David Foster described their performance magical.
The Philippines already secured 4 acts in the Grand Finals where as other acts including Triqstar of Japan, Gao Lin and Liu Xin of China, Khusugtun of Mongolia and two more from the last batch of semi-finalists will be joining them at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for on May 7 and 14 for the grand finals of Asia’s Got Talent.
