Aside from the video that the Mexican Superstar Thalia posted on her Instagram account thanking the People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao for the admiration in her Marimar role before in the 90’s, Thalia posted a photo of her with her son Matthew Alejandro in boxing gloves with the message they are ready for the big fight and they are supporting Manny.
Thalia fell in love with the Filipino people when her TV series Marimar became phenomenal along with other series Maria Mercedes, Maria La Del Barrio and Rosalinda. She visited the country in 90s whereas she even included Filipino songs including Nandito Ako in her album. Manny confirmed in his interview with a Mexican reporter who visited in one of his training that he admired Thalia who played Marimar. Thalia was very thankful with the message of Manny and she said she admired Manny too.
Mann Pacquaio will be fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr on May 2 (May 3 Philippine Time) at the MGM Arena and tagged as the fight of the century.
