After the successful penetration of Spinnr in the mobile users in the Philippines, SMART now partners with the leading global music streaming service Deezer to bring the full breadth of music experience to mobile users in the country through Deezer’s Premium+ service. With the Premium+ service of Deezer, the more than 72 million Smart mobile subscribers nationwide will be able to enjoy unlimited web and mobile access to the most number of music tracks online and offline, all in high-quality and without the interruption of ads.
Up to date, Deezer is available in more than 180 countries it ensures SMART users to enjoy seamless experience to stream their favorite songs anywhere they are in the Philippines and even overseas. Currently SMART is now working on the affordable bundles that will surely caters the needs of both postpaid and prepaid subscribers that will surely compliment to their lifestyle and their love for music.
According to Mellissa Limcaoco, Innovation and Product Development Group Head at Smart, they are excited to announce that SMART is partnering with Deezer that will surely deliver the needs of their postpaid and prepaid subscribers in terms of music experience on the go. She also added that with Deezer it will widen their portfolio of music that’s now under Spinnr at the same time they will keep it affordable in terms of streaming bundles and downloads.
Meanwhile Steven Frank, Business Development Manager for Asia Pacific at Deezer mentioned that they are delighted to have this partnership with SMART and promises millions of songs in various genres that will cater all Filipino music lovers.
Limcaoco added that with the strong mobile internet connection that SMART offers that includes more than 10,000 4G-capable (HSPA+, LTE/LTE-A) sites all around the country, users will be able to enjoy seamless and unhampered access to various mobile services that include the likes of Deezer and SPINNR.
