After being absent for more than a month due to the mauling incident, Vhong Navarro is officially back as host in It’s Showtime. But before coming back to work in the afternoon of March 10, Vhong made his initial comeback last March 9 before the show ended where all his co-hosts wore the Welcome Vhong white t-shirts to celebrate his return to the top-rating noontime show of ABS-CBN.
Vhong Navarro joined his co-hosts in the opening of It’s Showtime and even danced the iconic Billy Vhong opening dance for the Sine Mo ‘To. Unfortunately, Vhong’s close friend and partner in the said segment Billy Crawford was absent and co-dancer of Streetboys and co-host Jhong Hillaro substitute for him. Vhong is one of the narrators of the said segment.
Meanwhile, the case that Vhong submitted in court against Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo is still on going in connection with the condo assault last January 22 in Taguig. And with the recent rape case that Roxanne Cabañero posted against Vhong, the actor fires up perjury case against her and even dragged Lee and Cornejo. Vhong’s friend and co-host of It’s Showtime Vice Ganda made a statement before he left for US tour to counter Roxanne’s rape accusation.
