From being Bea Alonzo’s father in I Love Betty La Fea as Hermes Tingson that aired on ABS-CBN last 2008, Ronaldo Valdez now again work with Bea in Star Cinema’s The Mistress. Unlike with other roles that he played in the film and television showing a fatherly image to the rest of the cast, in The Mistress he will be playing the role Rico, Regina’s husband played by Hilda Koronel and the man why Sari Alfonso (Bea) accepts to be the other woman in the story. The Mistress was directed by Olivia Lamasan.
Valdezwill surely surprise the movie goers who will be watching The Mistress that will be premiering on September 12 in all cinemas nationwide, as the father of Bea in his Pinoy adaptation of I Love Betty La Fea will be his lover in this film. Bea and Ronaldo will be showing the other side of the story of The Mistress that was made complicated when JD (John Lloyd Cruz) enters the scene and started to fall in love with Sari. With his charm and determination to win her, Sari gives in to JD but her love for Rico is still there that holds her back.
The Mistress is a four-sided movie that will give life to the four characters including Sari, JD, Rico andReginaon how they will fight for love and their rights in this story. The film also celebrates Bea and John Lloyd’s 10th year as on-cam love team which will continue the celebration as the teleserye A Beautiful Affair on ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo Valdez will be playing the role of Zacharias in the Kapamilya Networks’ Ina Kapatid Anak where Kim Chiu, Maja Salvador, Enchong Dee, Xian Lim, Janice de Belen, Cherrie Pie Picache and Ariel Rivera will be joining him as it kicks off on the 4th quarter of 2012.
