After being behind the camera for most of the films as director, Clint Eastwood will be returning to the big screen as one of the stars in the sports-drama film entitled Trouble with the Curve. Also starring in this film are Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake, Matthew Lillard, John Goodman and Joe Massingill. It was directed by Robert Lorenz and will be showing in all cinemas nationwide on September 2012, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Trouble with the Curve follows the father-daughter relationship of Gus Lobel (Eastwood) and Nicky (Adams). Gus is an aging Atlanta Braves baseball scout who brought Nicky in his last scouting trip to scout a new top prospect named Bo Gentry (Massingill). While on his final scouting, Gus reconnects with Johnny (Timberlake), a rival scout and the person whom Gus scouted when he was a baseball player. But aside from that Johnny is attracted to Gus’ daughter which the old man disapproves.
