Few weeks after the release of the blockbuster barkada film The Reunion, Enrique Gil will be launching another film entitled Amorosa: The Revenge under Skylight Films and distributed by Star Cinema on August 29, 2012. Joining him in the horror-psychological film are Angel Aquino, Empress, Martin del Rosario, Carlo Aquino and Ejay Falcon. It is directed by Topel Lee.
Enrique will be playing to role of Rommel, one of the sons of Rosa (Aquino) who encountered a tragic accident together with Amiel (del Rosario) that changes their life drastically. In order to cope with the accident, Rosa decided to bring her family to a pension house in order to recover but instead of having the peace they wanted, she was haunted by a ghost that others think she was insane until it also haunted her sons.
Aside from film projects, Enrique Gil enjoys his acting stint in ABS-CBN’s top-rating teleserye entitled Princess and I that also stars Kathryn Bernardo, Khalil Ramos, Daniel Padilla and Gretchen Barretto that airs weeknights after TV Patrol.
