The X-Factor Philippines reveals the Top 20

After the series of auditions from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao with the mentor/judges Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Charice and Ms. Pilita Corales they came up with 172 hopefuls that entered the boot camp. They were divided into four groups namely Girls, Boys, Groups and Over 25s. With the help of vocal coaches each group sing a particular song that will test their memory, diction and delivery of the assigned songs and from there 68 emerges for the next level. Aside from singing, The X-Factor Philippines hopefuls undergo dancing still divided into four groups, some struggled and for others it is very easy. And now for their make it break it performance they will be performing the songs that selected that hopefully that will impress the judges.

For the mentor/judges is very hard for them to select who has that x-factor that will be moving to the final cut and closer to be the very first The X-Factor Philippines champion. Now from 68, The X-Factor Philippines announced the names of the Top 20 which includes Jeric Medina, Michael Pangilinan, Anton Paolo Antenorcruz, Gabriel Anciano, and Kedebon Colim for the Boys Category, Allen Jane Sta. Maria, Jerrianne Mae Templo, KZ Tandingan, Abigail Mendoza, and Angelica Prado for the Girls Category, TakeOff, Sweet Bliss, Daddy’s Home, 5th Avids and newly formed Lucky Girls for the Group Category and Joan Da, Paulo Castro, Cristine Ledesma, Mark Mabasa and Modesto Taran for the Over 25s Category.

The real journey to stardom begins with The X-Factor Philippines as the Top 20 will start their big steps and showing their worth with their respective mentors as they prepare themselves to the greater challenges that will come their way and the Final 12 will emerge from there who will be performing on The X-Factor Stage. Aside from the announcement of the Top 20 contestants of The X-Factor Philippines, the group assignment for the mentor/judges will be announced next week where they will be taking the lead on developing the talents of the contestants. The X-Factor Philippines is hosted by KC Conception and under The X-Factor Franchise created by Simon Cowell. It airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday after Maalaala Mo Kaya and Sundays after Sarah G. Live.
