In line with the celebration of Ramadan on August, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) will distribute ten tons of pressed dates to 60, 000 vulnerable and food-insecure persons in the conflict affected provinces ofCentral Mindanao. The said pressed dates where donated by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia to WFP-Philippines and also to Philippine Red Cross.
