Netflix has greenlit its newest K-teen romance series, No Crushing Allowed, and unveiled a star-studded cast led by Moon Sang-min, Shin Sia, Lee Min-jae, and Choi Hee-jin.

Set in the world of two prestigious rival schools, Jinwol Boys’ High and Jinwol Girls’ High, the series follows 19-year-olds who are strictly forbidden from dating yet find themselves experiencing the thrill and uncertainty of first love.

The two schools are separated by a single wall, surrounded by an urban legend that anyone who dares to cross it will pay the price. Adding to the pressure is a strict school policy: students caught dating face expulsion.

Amid these rules, rivalries, friendships, and the challenges of modern school life, the young characters find themselves navigating feelings that may be difficult to ignore. The series promises a nostalgic and heart-fluttering take on first love while carrying on the tradition of Netflix’s popular K-teen romantic comedies, including Love Untangled and Love Alarm.

No Crushing Allowed is directed by Jamie K Lee, known for Filing for Love, My Dearest Nemesis, and Sh**ting Stars, and written by Lee Na-eun, whose credits include Melo Movie and Our Beloved Summer. The creative duo brings together a stylish approach to romance and grounded, relatable dialogue to create a fresh story about young love.

Moon Sang-min stars as Lee Chi-won, a trusted straight-A student and student body president of Jinwol Boys’ High. Shin Sia plays So Ran, the student body president of Jinwol Girls’ High and a promising track and field athlete.

Chi-won and So Ran have grown up in the same neighborhood and have long viewed each other as rivals. While Chi-won appears to have it all—academic excellence, athletic ability, and a strong personality—So Ran is a passionate competitor determined to come out on top. As their rivalry evolves, however, the two begin to question whether their growing feelings are simply another form of competition or something closer to first love.

Meanwhile, Lee Min-jae takes on the role of Gong Su-ho, a Jinwol Boys’ High student engaged in a love-hate rivalry with Chi-won. He approaches So Ran with motives of his own, potentially complicating the relationship between the two longtime rivals.

Choi Hee-jin plays Kim Ri-ji, a bright and bubbly transfer student at Jinwol Girls’ High who becomes So Ran’s roommate. Her arrival adds another layer of tension as the four young characters become increasingly intertwined.

With first love, school rivalries, friendship, and youthful dreams at its heart, No Crushing Allowed is set to explore the excitement and uncertainty of falling in love for the first time.

No Crushing Allowed will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
