I Am Pogay Champ John Raspado wins Mister Gay World Philippines 2016

Hailed as the 2014 I Am Pogay Grand Champion, John Raspado from Baguio City is now named as the Mister Gay World Philippines 2016 after winning in the competition last October 2 at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City. Aside from the title as Mister Gay World Philippines 2016, Raspado also won Mr. Popularity, Best In National Costume, Best In Talent and Photographers’ Choice Award.

Completing the winners are John Bench T. Ortiz from Pangasinan bagging 1st Runnep Up and Zamboanga del Sur’s Khalil Vera Cruz was named second runner-up.

The competition was hosted by Paolo Bediones, Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry and Kristine Caballero.

Raspado succeeded Christian Lacsamana, who won second runner-up in Mr. Gay World 2016 last April. Lacsama was Raspado co-I Am Pogay contenstant where he landed first runner-up.
