After winning The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 Champion last March of this year, the dream of the Haranista of Butuan City continues as he officially releasee his self-titled debut album under MCA Music Inc. Jason Dy who started as singing telegraph and tried his luck in the blind audition in the The Voice of the Philippines Season 2, he became part of the team of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.
The self-titled album of Jason contains 11 tracks including “I Am Something” that he wrote and described his journey as a singer. Other songs included in the album are Caught In That Feeling, Milagro, When You Hear This Song, My Bad (I’m Sorry), Walang Iwanan, 2 Have U, Break My Heart Some More, Turn Out The Night, OMG and accountic version of Caught In That Feeling. Composers who gave their support to Jason include Jungee Marcelo and Soc Villanueva.
Before he joined The Voice he did demo songs for Jed Madela, Erik Santos, Sam Concepcion and Daniel Padilla. Meanwhile, he shared that he idolized Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano who remained his status of being an iconic singer and still loved by all the generations because of his music at the same time he knows how to dance. According to Dy, he wanted to be like Valenciano who can sing and dance where he wanted to be a total performer.
With his album now available, there are now talks about his concert which will be finalized soon. Jason shared that he dreams of working with his Coach Sarah on a collaboration. He said that he always get the support of her mother at the same time he thanked the Lord for the blessing.
