After being awarded as the Most Innovative Film and Special Mention: Feature Film at the Fantasia Film Festival in the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, Quebec in Canada, the horror film Unfriended or also known as with the working titles Offline and Cybernatural before, it will be having its worldwide release on April 2015. The film under the direction of Levan Gabriadze will be distributed on mainstream cinemas under Universal Pictures.
Unfriended stars Shelley Hennig, Renee Olstead, Jacob Wysocki and William Peltz.
The horror suspense film follows the Skype conversation of six teenagers who were classmates and an uninvited anonymous person who joined them. They were all annoyed with the unknown person who keeps on joining their group chatting even though they try the person out of the group. Unknown to them, it was the death anniversary of Laura Barns (Heather Sossaman) who committed suicide a year ago.
