It was an afternoon of understanding and eye-opening to the hosts, judges, audience and viewers of It’s Showtime after Vice Ganda together with Ryan Bang deliver a very heartwarming Magpasikat performance during the 5th Anniversary of the show. Their production number is not as colorful and extravagant like the performances of first three group namely Anne Curtis and Coleen Garcia, Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hillario and Karylle and Kim Atienza. Instead Vice and Ryan targeted the hearts of the viewer giving them a song with a beautiful message of equality and unconditional love.
Together with That’s My Tomboy champion Epey Herher, differently-abled people and sick children they deliver the message of the song perfectly whereas it was well applauded by the viewers of the show along with netizens giving them positive comments during the show. The judges Pops Fernandez and Jim Paredes compliment their presentation and said that it touches their heart and the message of the song and presentation was truly heartfelt.
As for Cherie Gil, aside from giving a beautiful feedback on the performance of Vice she also apologizes to him after she reacted with his stand-up stints before. According to Cherie she judged Vice without understanding him that’s why she is asking for apology. She thanks Vice for the letting her get to know him deeper through the song and with his performance it made her question the legacy she wants to leave behind after 35 years in the industry.
Vice immediately said that she don’t need to say sorry and it doesn’t hurt him. Vice said he understood the situation of Cherie. He also recalled that during the time he was summoned by the MTRCB several times because of the jokes he used in the show and Gandang Gabi Vice there was someone who questioned his contribution to the public. It hurt him but at the same time it challenges him to create a meaningful presentation that will surely everyone will remember him. Aside from that he also revealed that he is going through something right now, which he cannot share to the public just yet. This is the reason why he is often absent from the noontime show. He also mentioned that his performance with Magpasikat might be the last but he don’t want to say it that it is final.
Meanwhile the last team to present on Magpasikat is the group of Billy Crawford which include Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz III. It’s Showtime airs on ABS-CBN after Be Careful With My Heart weekdays and Saturday.
