Last March 22 was a very unforgettable night for the shoppers of SM Mall of Asia at watched The 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. It was the closing ceremony of the annual pyromusical at the same time awarding of the winners. But before the closing the Atlas Pyro Vision of the United States of America (USA) has the chance to present their entry with a rock ‘n roll theme. The Manila Bay sky was lighted up with fireworks from the USA team with perfect combination of rock music from the 80’s up to present that really give the audience a good time.
USA’s team was great but it didn’t gave them a slot in the top 3 winners. The winning teams that made it at The 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition include 2nd runner-up Jubilee Fireworks of the United Kingdom (UK) that presented last February 22, 1st runner-up Liuyang New Year Fireworks of the People’s Republic of China that presented last March 8 and the champion and also the Bonchon’s special awardee was from Canada the Royal Pyrotechnie.
Aside from the USA team, the Platinum Fireworks Inc., of Philippines presented a breath-taking combination of fireworks, lights and sounds to officially close the competition. Here are the photos from the Philippines and USA’s presentation.

The 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition was a joint project of the SM Mall of Asia, Platinum Fireworks Inc., and Department of Tourism. It was joined by 10 countries including Australia, Spain, UK, USA, France, Japan, China, Germany, Canada, and Philippines.
