Coming from the back to back success of Walang Hanggan and Juan dela Cruz, the King of Primetime Drama Coco Martin returns to primetime television for another hard-hitting love story that will captures avid teleserye viewers of ABS-CBN. Entitled Ikaw Lamang, the drama series will premiere on March 10 after Honesto on Primetime Bida of the Kapamilya network which will be directed by Malu L. Sevilla and Avel E. Sunpongco. Joining Coco in Ikaw Lamang are the brightest stars of their generation Kim Chiu, Julia Montes and Jake Cuenca.
Coco Martin plays the role of Samuel, one of the workers in hacienda. Unlike other workers who attained proper education that made him realize his rights as a labourer in the farm. He was once a friend to Franco (Jake) who became jealous because of Isabelle (Kim) was close to her. Meanwhile, another childhood friend Mona (Julia) was just loving him from afar waiting for Samuel to notice him.
After few years of separation, Samuel and Isabelle reunited and from just being friends they started to fall in love to each other. But their situation as the laborer and owner of land will it be fitting to the eyes of those who surrounds them? Will their love be on the right time or will they wait for the right moment to happen?
Ikaw Lamang celebrates the reunion of Coco to Kim and Jake after the success of Tayong Dalawa in 2009 and with Julia in the phenomenal Walang Hanggan in 2009. Joining them are award winning veterans in the film and TV industry including Ronaldo Valdez, Daria Ramirez, Spanky Manikan, Tirso Cruz III, Cherry Pie Picache, Cherie Gil, Angel Aquino, John Estrada, Ronnie Lazaro, Meryll Soriano and Lester Llansang.
