Beginning January 2, ABS-CBN Channel 2 will be airing Korean romantic comedy show entitled Heartstrings at the Kapamilya Gold timeslot (02:30PM). The TV series stars Jung Yong Hwa playing the role of Kevin (Lee Shin) and Park Shin Hye playing the role of Nicole (Lee Gyu Won).
Set in an art school, Kevin and Nicole are totally opposite despite of their love for music. Kevin is into pop-alternative while Nicole is into traditional Korean music. Planning to raise funds for their project, Nicole’s friend commissioned the band “The Stupid” where the main vocalist and guitarist is Kevin where during that time Nicole was totally irritated to him. During the performance, Kevin didn’t show up and Nicole caught herself saving the event by singing on stage.
The clash of western and traditional music begins between Nicole and Kevin. Will there be a blending of tune between the two of them? Watch out the music straight from the heart finally finds it way as Heartstrings premieres on ABS-CBN beginning January 2!
