On February 17, 2012, Warner Bros Pictures brings back Nicolas Cage on the big screen to reprise his role as Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. This is the sequel of the 2007 film Ghost Rider movie adaptation that is based from the Marvel Comics antihero with the same title. Now available on 3D format, the film was directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.
The sequel continues with the struggle of Johnny Blaze as the devil’s bounty hunter (Ghost Rider) which he considers as a curse. With a task to save a young boy from the devil he sees an option to team up with the leader of a group of rebel monks (Idris Elba). Will this be a good way to save himself from the curse?
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was written by Scott M. Gimple, Seth Hoffman and David S. Goyer, with a story by Goyer based on the Marvel Comic. The film also features actors including Ciarán Hinds, Violante Placido, Johnny Whitworth, Christopher Lambert and Idris Elba. Available in 3D and regular format, the Ghost Rider sequel is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
