Sparkle stars Shuvee Etrata and Anthony Constantino take on their first solo starring project together as they headline GMA Network’s newest digital series, From Vlog to Love.
The romantic-comedy mini-series premieres on the GMA Network YouTube Channel on September 18, following a witty probinsyana whose life takes an unexpected turn when she catches the attention of a Fil-Am heir. Unbeknownst to her, his attempt to win her heart is initially part of his plan to rebuild his image and make an online comeback.
Joining Shuvee and Anthony in the series are fellow Sparkle artists Caitlyn Stave and Kiel Gueco, along with Christian Antolin, Marnie Lapus, Che Ramos-Cosio, and Ruby Ruiz.
Blending humor, kilig, and heartfelt moments, From Vlog to Love explores romance in the age of social media, viral content, and complicated relationships. The story also plays up the charming “AFAM meets Bisdak” dynamic, giving Shuvee and Anthony a fresh setting to showcase their chemistry.
Shuvee plays Angge, a feisty college intern who relies on her wit and determination as she works toward building a better life for herself and her grandmother. Independent and driven, Angge has no plans of depending on anyone else, until an unexpected encounter changes the course of her life.
Anthony, meanwhile, portrays Bullet, a charming but directionless Fil-Am who finds himself sent to the Philippines after a viral scandal involving a spliced racist remark. Cut off by his wealthy father and tasked with managing the family resort, Bullet crosses paths with Angge, leading to a connection that gradually becomes more complicated than either of them expected.
For Shuvee, the project marks her first solo starring role, allowing her to bring her natural Bisaya charm and personality to a romantic-comedy character. Anthony, meanwhile, steps into the spotlight as a promising new leading man, bringing charisma and screen presence to his role as Bullet.
With its mix of comedy, romance, and relatable social media themes, From Vlog to Love offers a light and feel-good story about finding love in the most unexpected circumstances.
