Diamond-certified rock band Nickelback has released “Leave Me Behind,” the third single from its upcoming studio album, Everything Under The Sun, set for release on October 30, 2026, via Virgin Music Group.
Following the explosive “Rattle The Cage” featuring John 5, the new track presents a more vulnerable side of the band, focusing on loyalty, resilience, and standing by someone through difficult times.
“Leave Me Behind” explores the emotional journey of helping someone overcome pain while holding on to a meaningful connection. Its message centers on letting go of what has caused hurt while reminding loved ones that they do not have to face their struggles alone.
Chad Kroeger described the song as carrying both emotional weight and hope, reflecting the desire to help someone rebuild while capturing the fear of being left behind.
The single follows “Bones For The Crows,” which marked Nickelback’s first new music since its 2022 album Get Rollin’. Together with “Rattle The Cage,” the three tracks offer a preview of Everything Under The Sun, which spans arena anthems, powerful guitars, melodic hooks, and more reflective songwriting.

The album arrives as Nickelback continues its renewed momentum following the success of the Netflix documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback and the record-breaking Get Rollin’ World Tour, the band’s fastest-selling and highest-attended tour.
With nearly 60 million albums sold worldwide and billions of streams, Nickelback remains one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 21st century. The band’s new album also marks its first release with Virgin Music Group.
Everything Under The Sun will be released on October 30, 2026.
