Ice Seguerra is taking one of Original Pilipino Music’s most beloved classics to the global stage as the “Pagdating ng Panahon” 25th Anniversary World Tour begins its international run in Australia this August.
Following the anniversary concert in Manila on August 22, the celebration continues with performances in Sydney (August 29), Canberra (August 30), Melbourne (September 4), and Adelaide (September 5), bringing the iconic ballad to Filipino communities abroad.
Produced by Fire & Ice Live in partnership with E-Talent International Group and Cheers Entertainment Australia, the Australian leg marks the first international stop of a tour celebrating a song that has become deeply woven into the lives of generations of Filipinos.
Originally released in 2001, “Pagdating ng Panahon” became one of the defining OPM ballads of its generation. More than two decades later, it continues to accompany weddings, reunions, homecomings, and life’s most meaningful moments, earning a lasting place in the hearts of listeners both in the Philippines and around the world.
Earlier this year, Seguerra reunited with Vicor Music Corporation to release a newly recorded 25th anniversary version of the song. Looking back on its remarkable journey, Seguerra shared that recording Pagdating ng Panahon 25 years ago was already a special milestone, but never imagined it would become such a significant part of so many people’s lives. He reflected that the song has taken on a deeper meaning through the years, adding that after everything life has taught him, its emotions now feel richer and more layered.
