Book lovers looking for their next great read can head to the 2026 Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), where Ateneo de Manila University Press and ADMU Journals will bring a diverse selection of books, authors, scholarly publications, and literary offerings from September 9 to 13 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
The Ateneo de Manila University Press (AUP) will be at Booths 7-10, between Halls 1 and 2, featuring new releases, longtime favorites, and special finds for readers.
Among the featured titles are Versus: Mga Kuwento by DJ Ellamil; Are You Still Watching? Dispatches and Essays on Filipino Cinema and TV by Don Jaucian; My Lola’s Love Letters: A Novel by Ines Bautista-Yao; Memoirs of an Art Forger: A Novel by Julian Tiongson Jr.; Song of the Mango and Other New Myths by Vida Cruz-Borja; The End Comes on Without a Gasp by Trish Shishikura; Factory of Alleged Virtues by Alfonso Manalastas; and What Recipes Don’t Tell by Felice Sta. Maria.
Readers will also have the chance to meet some of the featured authors through a series of book signings at the AUP booth throughout the five-day fair.
Joining AUP at MIBF are ADMU Journals, which will showcase scholarly publications available in both print and online formats. These include Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints, Budhi: A Journal of Ideas and Culture, Kritika Kultura, Perspectives in the Arts and Humanities Asia, Katipunan, Journal of Management for Global Sustainability, and Social Transformations: Journal of the Global South.
The journals feature research and scholarship covering Philippine history, culture, society, the arts, humanities, management, sustainability, and other fields.
Book hunters can also look forward to special deals at the AUP booth, with new titles discounted by 15%, other titles marked down by up to 30%, and P50 bargain titles and other offers available throughout the fair.
Visitors can also bring home new AUP merchandise, including tote bags that are perfect for carrying books and other literary finds.
Ateneo is also offering free admission to MIBF 2026. Visitors can get a bookmark invite from the AUP Bookshop at Bellarmine Hall or scan the QR code on Ateneo’s promotional materials to download, print, and present at the MIBF entrance.
