Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Lukas Graham has released “Good Times,” the uplifting title track from his forthcoming 13-track album of the same name, arriving August 14 via Virgin Music Group.
Rooted in Celtic and folk traditions, the new single marks Graham’s return to the storytelling and musical heritage that shaped his early years. The accompanying music video features archival footage chronicling his journey from childhood to international stardom, celebrating the family, friends, and experiences that have influenced his music.
The upcoming album, Good Times, reconnects Graham with the Irish roots of his late father, Eugene, a Donegal-born music lover who introduced him to folk music and its rich storytelling tradition. After years of global success, the album represents a deeply personal return to the sounds and cultural influences that first inspired him.
The project was first introduced through the banjo-driven single “To Know A Girl,” followed by “Second Chance,” an upbeat anthem about redemption, growth, and embracing new beginnings.
Recorded in Nashville and New York, Good Times features a distinguished lineup of musicians with personal ties to Graham’s father and the folk community that surrounded his childhood. Among them are Irish flute and uilleann pipes virtuoso Michael McGoldrick, bassist Sam Grisman, mandolinist Tim O’Brien, fiddler Stuart Duncan, and guitarist Brian Sutton.
“People my dad knew. People who had slept on a couch in my mum and dad’s living room,” Graham shared. “It was very important to me that we got a hold of some of these musicians and got that cultural connection.”
Lukas Graham first rose to worldwide fame with the 2015 hit “7 Years,” which earned three Grammy nominations, topped charts in more than 15 countries, and became one of Spotify’s Billions Club tracks. He later followed it with international hits including “Love Someone,” establishing himself as one of contemporary pop’s most heartfelt storytellers.
Beyond the album release, Graham will hit the road as a special guest on Ed Sheeran’s 2026 Loop Tour across North America. The tour kicks off on August 15 in Minneapolis before making stops in Toronto, Detroit, East Rutherford, Philadelphia, Foxborough, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Charlotte, Arlington, and Tampa through November.
