Netflix Philippines has announced that its upcoming Filipino drama film Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon, starring acclaimed actresses Jodi Sta. Maria and Agot Isidro, will premiere on August 13. The emotionally charged family drama is poised to become one of the streaming platform’s biggest Filipino releases of the year.

Directed by Cholo H. Laurel and written by Cody Abad, Cholo H. Laurel, and Shania Sumergido, Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon explores the complexities of family, forgiveness, and unresolved emotional wounds through the story of Joanne “Jo,” a successful television writer whose career is disrupted by the unexpected return of her estranged mother, Paz.

As Jo prepares for a career-defining opportunity, she is forced to confront painful memories from her childhood after her mother returns to the Philippines. The emotional reunion uncovers long-buried secrets and unresolved conflicts, challenging both women to face their shared past while redefining what family means.

The film brings together a stellar ensemble cast led by Sta. Maria and Isidro, alongside Gabriel Lazaro, Gardo Versoza, Ruby Ruiz, RK Bagatsing, Mitch Valdez, and Angel Aquino.
Blending heartfelt drama, humor, and the familiar dynamics of Filipino family life, Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon paints a compelling portrait of love, resentment, reconciliation, and the unique relationships that define every family.
Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon begins streaming exclusively on Netflix on August 13.
