Prime Video unveiled a major casting announcement for the second season of Batman: Caped Crusader during its panel at San Diego Comic-Con, revealing Matthew Needham (House of the Dragon) as the voice of the iconic villain The Joker.
The announcement came during the world premiere screening of the animated noir series’ first episode of Season Two. Following the screening, executive producers James Tucker and Geoffrey Thorne joined cast members Hamish Linklater, Jamie Chung, and Matthew Needham for an engaging discussion about the upcoming season and what fans can expect as Gotham City’s story continues to unfold.
The panel also featured another surprise for fans with the debut of the trailer for Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles, a new game from Amazon Luna launching on July 31 alongside the series’ second season. The game will be available to Prime members and Luna subscribers through the Luna app in select markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
