2GO, one of the Philippines’ leading sea travel providers, has partnered with Vallacar Transit, Inc., operator of the well-known Ceres Liner buses, to offer seamless shuttle services that better connect sea and land transportation across major gateways in the country.

Under the partnership, Ceres Liner will provide dedicated shuttle buses for 2GO passengers arriving at port terminals. The first route now operates between Nasipit Port and the Ceres Terminal in Butuan City, with similar services in Cebu and Cagayan de Oro expected to launch soon. The initiative is designed to improve travel convenience and accessibility for local passengers.

2GO Travel passengers can reserve shuttle seats onboard before disembarking, enabling a smoother transfer from port to terminal while aligning shuttle schedules with vessel arrivals. This integrated setup helps streamline passenger movement, minimize waiting times, and improve coordination between sea and land transport services.

“This partnership strengthens access for passengers traveling to and from nearby provinces, making it easier for more Filipinos to connect to key ports and continue their journeys across islands,” said Collin Derk Isidto, Vice President for Legal of Vallacar Transit Inc. “By improving connectivity between land and sea transport, we help enable more convenient and reliable inter-island travel.”

“We hope that through this collaboration, we enable not only regular travelers and groups, but also entrepreneurs and communities to access more destinations across the Philippines,” said Francis O. Chua, Business Unit Head of 2GO Travel. “This added convenience opens more opportunities for Filipinos to explore and connect across islands.”

Joining the partnership launch were Collin Derk Isidto; Ronald Ian Galimba; Francis O. Chua; and Laurence Albert Orante.

The collaboration reflects 2GO’s continuing efforts to strengthen its logistics and travel ecosystem by integrating sea and land transportation services. Through expanded mobility solutions, the company aims to provide a more seamless travel experience while reinforcing its role as a comprehensive transport and logistics provider.

Both parties are also exploring additional ports and terminals to further improve connectivity nationwide.

Passengers traveling to Butuan may visit the Front Office onboard for assistance with shuttle arrangements.
