The hit Physical:100 franchise is back, bigger, bolder, and more intense than ever with its most ambitious evolution to date. Netflix has unveiled the 48 competitors of Physical: Asia, the first nation versus nation edition of the global phenomenon.

Eight countries — Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Australia, and the Philippines — will face off in a high-stakes test of strength, strategy, and teamwork, all in the name of national pride. Each six-person team is led by a national icon who embodies the competitive spirit of their homeland.

Representing the Philippines is People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao, the only eight-division world champion in boxing history.

Other team captains include UFC trailblazer Dong-hyun “Stun Gun” Kim for Korea, MMA legend Yushin Okami for Japan, former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert “The Reaper” Whittaker for Australia, Muay Thai world champion Superbon for Thailand, Mongolian wrestling star Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan, four-time Turkish oil wrestling champion Recep Kara, and Indonesian fitness powerhouse Igedz “Executioner.”

The series will blend elite athleticism with cultural tradition, featuring disciplines ranging from combat sports and track events to heritage competitions such as Korean ssireum, Mongolian wrestling, Turkish oil wrestling, and Muay Thai.

Producer Jang Ho-gi, who spearheaded the original Physical:100, said this evolution is designed to raise the stakes: “At its heart, the Physical series is about raw competition that transcends disciplines and generations. By bringing national pride into the equation, the battles will be more intense, more emotional, and more unforgettable than ever.”

Following acclaimed spin-offs in the U.S. and Italy, Physical: Asia transforms the fight for individual survival into a thrilling team battle for supremacy. The eight-nation spectacle premieres this October, streaming exclusively on Netflix for viewers worldwide.
