GMA Playlist is turning up the emotions this September with a fresh lineup of songs that explore the many sides of love, remorse, and friendship. The latest releases include the official soundtrack for GMA Network’s Ganito Tayo, Kapuso: Masayahin values campaign, as well as stirring ballads from Sparkle’s rising stars.
At the heart of the Ganito Tayo, Kapuso: Masayahin campaign is a story about children who get lost in online gaming but eventually rediscover the joy of real-world connections through their parents’ guidance. Its official soundtrack features three new tracks: “Ikaw Na Lang Ang Kulang,” “Basta’t Magkasama Tayo,” and “Atin ang Mundo,” each one delivering the campaign’s message of joy, togetherness, and shared experiences.
Kapuso singer Mitzi Josh takes center stage with Ikaw Na Lang Ang Kulang, a heartfelt ballad by Ann Margaret Figueroa that captures the longing for genuine connection and the happiness that comes from being with others.
Meanwhile, Kim de Leon, Seb Pajarillo, and Mitzi Josh team up for the lively Basta’t Magkasama Tayo, an upbeat anthem about the simple joys of friendship. The collaboration continues with Kim de Leon and Seb Pajarillo in Atin ang Mundo, an empowering track that encourages listeners to embrace the world together.
GMA Playlist also highlights soulful ballads that dive deep into love and heartbreak. John Rex, The Clash 2023 Grand Winner, lends his powerful voice to Kahit Wala Nang Tayo, the official theme of GMA Afternoon Prime’s Cruz vs. Cruz. Written by Roxanne E. Fabian, the song tells the story of Manuel (played by Neil Ryan Sese), whose guilt and lingering love weigh heavily after betraying his wife.
Adding to the emotional lineup, Kim Perez delivers Huling Hinto, a rock ballad about facing the painful truth that a relationship has come to an end, while longing for honesty and closure.
All five singles were produced by Rocky S. Gacho and are now available on major digital streaming platforms worldwide, ready to give listeners the soundtrack to their own stories of love, loss, and friendship.
