After joining Tawag ng Tanghalan: All-Star Grand Resbak season 2, Enzo Almario puts a fresh spin on classic OPM love songs in his debut EP Gunita, released under StarPop.
The EP features heartfelt renditions of “Hanggang Kailan,” “Dito Na Lang,” “Mas Mabuti Pa,” “Gisingin Ang Puso,” “Kakayanin Kaya,” and “Hanggang Dito Na Lang.”
Its lead track, “Hanggang Kailan,” originally sung by Michael Pangilinan, reflects on the heartbreak of a fading relationship and the struggle to move on. The song was produced and co-written by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos with Cynthia Roque.
A native of Santa Rosa, Laguna, Enzo began singing at age 8 and later joined various talent competitions including Tawag ng Tanghalan season 3, where he came out as genderqueer. He then reached the semifinals of Idol Philippines season 1 and became part of the vocal trio iDolls with Matty Juniosa and Lucas Garcia.
Beyond music, Enzo has also taken on acting roles in Love Bites, Sleep With Me, and the film Ma’am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul.
