The Catholic Church has a new leader. Robert Francis Prevost from the Order of Saint Augustine has been elected as the 267th Pope, succeeding the late Pope Francis. The election took place during a papal conclave in the Vatican, and the announcement was made after several rounds of voting. The white smoke rising from the Sistine Chapel confirmed the decision of the 133 cardinals who participated the Papal Conclave. He got 89 vote.
He was elected on the second day of the Papal Conclave and the 4th ballot just like the time Pope Francis.

Pope Leo XIV is 69 years old and born Chicago, Illinois, USA. Before becoming pope, he served as [previous position, e.g., Archbishop of Chiclayo, Peru and after created Cardinal of Pope Francis he become Cardinal-Deacon of Santa Monica in Rome for two years.
