Asia’s Romantic Balladeer, Christian Bautista, has earned two nominations at the 16th Star Awards for Music in the categories of Best Male Recording Artist of the Year and Male Concert Performer of the Year. The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) recently announced its nominees for the annual event, which celebrates Original Pinoy Music (OPM) and honors the brightest talents in the industry.
Christian is nominated for Best Male Recording Artist of the Year for his heartfelt single “You Are Everything,” produced by Universal Records and featured in the teleserye Unbreak My Heart, starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, Joshua Garcia, and Gabbi Garcia. With two decades of experience, Christian’s nomination reflects his lasting influence on the Philippine music scene. He stands alongside both emerging talents like Juan Karlos and Zack Tabudlo, as well as industry veterans such as Bamboo, Billy Crawford, Erik Santos, and Ogie Alcasid.
His second nomination, for Male Concert Performer of the Year, acknowledges his The Way You Look At Me 20th Anniversary Concert, produced by Stages Production Specialists Inc. In this category, he competes with other accomplished performers, including Ian Veneracion, Jed Madela, Joey Generoso, Ogie Alcasid, and Piolo Pascual.
