From The X Factor UK to It’s Showtime’s Tawag ng Tanghalan, Ivy Grace Paredes surprises her supporters and the viewers of the top rating afternoon show after she appeared as one of the contestant of Tawag ng Tanghalan representing Mindanao. Ivy Grace performed a hit song of Whitney Houston entitled Run To You. Luckily she won in the daily round that immediately crowned her as the defending champion after Alfred Relantado decided to take a rest after ensuring his spot in the semi-finals.
Ivy Grace is known for her signature Houston covers whereas she amazed The X Factor UK Season 13 judges namely Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger with her performance of All The Man That I Need.
She also earned standing ovation during the 6 Chair Challenge after singing I Have Nothing. Osborne immediately gave her a spot in her group and evicted one just to give her a slot.
Unfortunately, Ivy Grace journey in The X Factor UK was cut short due to working visa that was not issued in time. Rapper Honey G replaced her spot on the over-25s group.
But with her vocal prowess and stage presence will she immediately immediately secure a spot in the semi-finals? We are looking forward to see Ivy Grace in her journey this time in It’s Showtime’s Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 2.
